CHAZ HAWLEY
, a self-taught musician and artist, has been involved in graphics, animation, photography and photo restoration for over 20 years. He taught himself (Adobe) Photoshop and (Deneba) Canvas shortly after they first came out in the early 90's. Before computers, his expertise included freehand graphics, painting, photography and darkroom techniques, musical instrument repair and piano restoration.

logo. . . In 1998, after taking several film classes at De Anza College, he formed a video production company CH VIDEO which later became MOSTLY VISIBLE PRODUCTIONS. His work included promotional films, a few short features, documentaries and a 30 min. television pilot. About then a statewide economic decline made film and video work scarce.

. . After learning Macromedia Dreamweaver in 2000 he began developing web graphics. Macromedia Flash came soon after, adding animation to his website designs. Further instruction included classes in Adobe Illustrator and Autodesk Maya. Additional classes in advanced Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash have been added in the last 3 years.

And on Chaz Photos you will find a portfolio of photography LOGOand photo touch-up / restoration work and several layout ideas, including a Flash version.

. . .. . .Currently a freelance web developer, Chaz is also a Multimedia teaching assistant, tutor, and lab technician at Cañada College in Redwood City, CA. Prior to that, he was assisting at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA. Chaz is married and lives in San Carlos, CAwith his wife, Jackie, and their two cats, Cecil & Caspar.
