I am asking 220 for a basic tuning at which I spend at least 2 hours.
That would include some voicing and regulating or even cleaning.
If it’s been multiple years since the last tuning and the piano has gone flat,
it could take longer and cost a little more.

So assuming the piano was tuned to 440hz in the last few years, and wasn't below 438hz it would take me about 2 hours to do a top notch job and I could do it for 220.
If it's been 10-20-30 years since the last tuning and it went super flat then that could take considerably more time.
[I actually get a lot these situations!]

A common issue when a piano is fairly new and didn't get tuned for a few years, when all the notes have gone somewhat or considerably flat.
That calls for a more complicated, almost double tuning. And that could take longer but usually no more than an extra half hour. [maybe $50?]
You could call me and play a few notes so I can analyze them to determine if there are pitch issues and to what degree. [A=440hz].
