Our exclusive beaded scarf collection is handcrafted for
Egyptian Princess and Planet Chic Imports in Egypt.
Mary Ann personally selects and sends special fabrics to Egypt,
which are then taken to the villages near Aswan and Kom Ombo where the
fabric is hand crafted with Czech crystal beads into our beautiful
beaded scarves. This work is performed by women who support their
families with this fine handiwork.
None of the work on our beaded scarves is done by machine. The crystal beads are hollow and are individually threaded onto the cotton material as they crochet the beaded trim on each scarf. Several days of this high quality handiwork is required to finish one beaded scarf.
